Read to Feed - Check it Out

This month we are going to Read to Feed.  Please log your reading time on the back cover of your booklet.  Use your bookmark daily.  It will remind us or our goal.  Whether you donate a quarter, one dollar or five dollars, we will be able to combine our monies and buy something to help those less fortunate.  We might be able to purchase... a heifer (female cow), some bees, tree seedlings or an irrigation pump for someone.  This is a gift that keeps on giving. We will improve someone's life, their livelihood and their community.

My precept for December -   If you give a man a fish you'll feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.                                                    ~Chinese proverb

What's a pronoun?

A pronoun takes the place of a noun.

There are several types of pronouns -
  • A subjective pronoun acts as the subject of a sentence—it performs the action of the verb. The subjective pronouns are he, I, it, she, they, we, and you.

  • An objective pronoun acts as the object of a sentence—it receives the action of the verb. The objective pronouns are her, him, it, me, them, us, and you.

  • A possessive pronoun tells you who owns something. The possessive pronouns are hers, his, its, mine, ours, theirs, and yours.
