CHAPTER 1
*expelled (v)- kicked out
*immortal (adj)- able to live forever, not able to die
triumphant (adj)- successful, victorious
*vaporized (v)- turned into a gas
kleptomaniac (n)- one who has an irresistible desire to steal
dyslexia (n)- difficulty in reading or understanding what is read

*hallucination (n)- something that is not really there
*solstice (n)- either of the two times in the year when the sun appears north or south in the sky - June 21 or 22 is the summer solstice (longest day of the year) and December 21 or 22 is the winter solstice (shortest day of the year)
